Welcome to my little corner of the world! If you are going to take the time to read what I write, I suppose I should take the time to tell you a little about myself…
I am a southern girl with a vagabond’s heart. I love coming home to Tennessee, but if you never leave you never have the chance to come back! Most of my life I thought I would be pediatrician, but after a few years of medical research at the University of Chicago, I realized that was not the path for me. I ended up at Fuller Seminary studying Intercultural Studies with a focus on Children-at-Risk. Now, I’m headed to Kenya to work at a college developing programming for at-risk children.
It has been a long and winding path to get where I am, but I have loved the journey and I’m incredibly excited about the chapters to come. More importantly, I am so grateful for everyone who has walked alongside me. While you’re here, look around, ask questions, jump in and join my story!
Thanks for stopping by!
